Dubbed the “banking modernization legislation,” these new laws address a variety of issues in Pennsylvania banking, including greatly expanding the regulatory and enforcement tools available to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities; bringing Pennsylvania law into compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act; and modernizing, where necessary, Pennsylvania’s Banking Code.
